2020 Community Celebration: Moving Forward

See Chicago Dance (SCD) reimagines its sixth annual dance Community Celebration by lifting up Chicago's thriving dance community and honoring two individuals who have been critical to its success. Joel Hall, Founding Artistic Director of Joel Hall Dancers & Center, will receive the Legacy Award recognizing his artistic leadership, and Gail Kalver, former Executive Director of Hubbard Street Dance Chicago and River North Dance Chicago, will receive the Distinguished Service to the Dance Field Award in recognition of her leadership in the arts. The Legacy Award is underwritten by Pamela Crutchfield. The Distinguished Service to the Dance Field Award is underwritten by The Richard H. Driehaus Charitable Lead Trust.

Proceeds raised during the annual Community Celebration support a variety of SCD programs that bolster dance organizations and artists, educate audiences, catalyze of the dance community, and more! Please consider a gift in honor of these two luminaries in the Chicago dance community!
