2021 Annual Awards Presentation & Dance Community Celebration

See Chicago Dance celebrates its seventh annual dance Community Celebration by lifting up Chicago's thriving dance community and honoring two individuals who have been critical to its success.

Hema Rajagopalan, Founding Artistic Director of Natya Dance Theatre, will receive the Legacy Award recognizing her artistic leadership. The Legacy Award is underwritten by Pamela Crutchfield.

Randy Duncan will receive the Distinguished Service to the Dance Field Award, which is awarded to those that make vital contributions to the health and vibrancy of the Chicago Dance sector.

Proceeds raised during the annual Community Celebration support a variety of SCD programs that bolster dance organizations and artists, educate audiences, catalyze the dance community, and more! Please consider a gift in honor of these two luminaries in the Chicago dance community!
